We'll take any positive press we can get these days about our market. Between the efforts of
OAR and
COHBA,
our message is finally being seen as credible by most of the local media, and thus our market is getting more of the respect it deserves on a local level that it's already been receiving nationally. (I am, however, still waiting on
these guys to detach themselves from the teet of the AP and start living up to
their own mission.)
While I don't want to split hairs, I believe our market deserves a more definitive headlined description than just "better than average." C'mon, we're Forbes #1 pick for most recession-proof cities, we're one of CNNMoney.com's bust-free markets, and are one of the few major metropolitan markets still seeing consistent gains in value.
Since when is the one setting the curve for everyone else awarded a measly C+?
