From Mize's story in the Oklahoman on
yesterday's OFHEO Home Price Index report:
Oklahoma City home values slipped slightly in the first quarter and Tulsa home values edged up — less than 1 percent for both — but both cities outperformed the nation as a whole in yearly comparisons, according to the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight.
I didn't get a chance to respond to the report in time for Richard's deadline, but I don't have anything to add that wasn't already said. The consensus is that it was expected to be worse, and that since OFHEO includes refinances in their calculations, a great deal of the drop had to do with those appraisals coming back down to reality as lenders tighten the reigns.
